"Hosts were great, guided us in as a bit off the main road! Very clean, tidy and spacious! We had a power cut on about the 4th day but they couldn’t have been better. We notified them and went out, we were notified by text all was fixed, faulty fuse! No disruption to our holiday! I would be more than happy to return! Excellent!!"

"Lina & Dimitri were wonderful hosts and always made sure we had a comfortable stay. They offered us cold drinks like ice coffe, when we relaxed at the pool area. The apartment itself was cosy and we had our own balcony. The air condition also worked perfectly during the hot days. There was a bus station just outside Iliaktida apartments, so it was easy to take the bus to Chania and other places in Crete. The village itself is a place with greek culture and also restaurants with autenthic greek...

"We were disappointed in the beach and surrounding facilities. It is an extremely large area so other parts of the beach may be different. There was only one beach bar at night that only served frozen pizza, so unless you did a big drive it was very limited. We didn’t want to drive up the steep roads again. The hotel is very clean but basic. It’s lovely to hear the sea at night with the doors open! "

"The rooms were odd, felt like staying in a concrete tomb. The pool was yellow-ish green, it was not swimmable. The hotel is very remote, no food, taverns, groceries within walking distance. beds were old and very uncomfortable, and overall we felt very unsafe in this location and left after one miserable night. "Wouldn't call this exactly a hotel, it's more like some family owned bunch of rooms in a big house. But they are well maintained and convenient enough, although quite simple. The location is nice, meters from the sea and a lot of restaurants on the promenade, the beach however is about 10 minute walk away. Nice, quiet place, good base for exploring the western part of Crete. Very friendly staff, well prepared with information and hand-enhanced printed maps for the region."

"I had torn my achilles tendon just before my stay here so accessibility was an issue to some degree. No rooms had ramps or had ground floor accessibility. Other than that, the staff were great, breakfast was fantastic. Lunch was meh, dinner was really nice at the stone restaurant. My family had rented a car so we were a short 20 min drive into old town Chania which was gorgeous. "

"Good food Wine not great Beer was ok Cocktails, spirits and ice creams, crisps not included in all inclusive snack bar Kids were happy with food and drink though Apartment clean and had all we need with beautiful views of the sea from balcony which we all loved. It was fair distance 20 mins from Chania and taxis did pick us up and drop us off but wait was half an hour late for drop off and long wait in unorganised queues to get back, but was do able. It was good but mainly to stay in hotel...
