"Das kleine Häuschen ist liebevoll, geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Vor Allem die hellen Schlafbereiche in der oberen Etage direkt unter dem Dach haben uns gut gefallen. Der Garten mit allem, was man sich wünscht, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Und zur freundlichen Begrüßung haben wir sogar einen Rotwein bekommen. Gerne wieder!!!"

You are woken by birds and apart from the wind in the trees, that's the only sound. The house is well equipped and in the perfect location for stroll to the nearby town of Schoorl, or as a base for exploring the surrounding area of dunes and forests and of course, the amazing golden beaches. "We really loved our stay at Amrath Hotel in Alkmaar! Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the area was wonderful. There's a nice park right across the canal that flows in front of the hotel, and the central town area is an easy walk. There we found great restaurants, a picturesque town, all the shopping a person could want, church bells that rang and played beautiful music, and lots of friendly people with their dogs. The hotel was an easy walk from the train station too. We would be happy to stay there again."
