Staff and service at this hotel is excellent, unfortunately the rooms are a bit dated and my room which was within the main building of this hotel was uncomfortably warm (even with the window open in early June).

I wonder which institution determines the number of stars because with regard to this hotel Fletcher Marijke in Bergen, people are quite wrong. The small room was known but a bathroom of very minimal size, no cold shower water, no balcony, no air conditioning or mechanical ventilation in the room, mattresses too soft, parking fee 7.50 per day, no swimming pool, you wonder where it is 4 star rating ? comes from. That will not only be based on the staff and breakfast because that was great !

There was mold at the wall in the wardrobe. I mentioned this to the lady at reception the next day when we left. The woman responsible for the household was also present there. She already knew this problem. Nevertheless, these rooms were rented to us! Luckily we were only there for one night.

Prima maar eenvoudige kamer. Ik was alleen en dan zit je ergens achter op de gang. Heel kleine douchecabine, beetje verouderd ook. Verder alles wel aanwezig. Het hotel is sowieso wat verouderd. Buiten en binnen. Ook erg gehorig. Prima ontbijt.

Kamers behoorlijk verouderd en badkamer met toilet waar de deksel zelfs scheef en los op stond. Personeel is vriendelijk, maar niet heel ervaren en dat merk je wel. Prima hotel maar zeker geen hoge verwachtingen van hebben. Alleen de prijs is daar misschien ool wel naar.
