"This place was something out of a storybook. A hidden treasure trove of history, ornate decorations and coziness, we had a truly magical stay here over the weekend. Our host Richard was a delight; very helpful, courteous and produced the most wonderful breakfasts. Quiet and contemplative atmosphere, with beautiful, clean rooms with great decorations. "There was an unusual incident, some hours of mess in the hotel, présence of fire fighters and non-stop alarm ringing that affected our stay, especially in the middle of massage treatment, and hotel staff didn't want to take responsibility, because the problem came from the outside! No reimbursement, no accomodation, we have just accepted the situation because we didn't want to ruin our trip."
