"I stayed here with my son. The house was beautifully located by the lake, within minutes of driving to lovely hiking trails. There is a local produce stand within walking distance , with farm fresh veggies and beef. The kitchen is very well equipped. Espresso machine and coffee machine. Beds are comfy and there is ample sitting room. We also met some neighbors who were lovely. "

"This stay was for my daughters college graduation. We’ve been staying at various hotels and rentals in the area. Has we found this spot 4 years ago we would have stayed here during every visit! Just perfect!!!! Property is a new resort area with lots to do including use of a pontoon boat for your stay! House was beautiful, clean and has everything!"

"They supposedly didn’t know we were coming, there was a mouse in the toilet, the floors had not been swept, they had a bunch of food and in the freezer and fridge, liquor had been out, no wifi or service, the bed sheets were dirty, no curtains on any of the windows, the doors and ALL windows were unlocked when we got there but the didn’t know we were coming? "

"The cottage was cute and comfortable. There was a little snafu with check in as guests who arrived before us took the cottage we were supposed to have and we ended up with the one next to it. It's hard to give the cottage a fair review because we stayed in a different one but by the pictures of this cottage it does seem to be a bit nicer than the one we stayed in. Great location! "

"This home as was unique and as gorgeous as we had hope for! Right on the canal where we fished with a lot of luck. Lots of fish..Ducks ..turtles. seagulls..and even a muskrat. House was clean and smelled great. Beds are comfy and cozy..and we all slept great with the central AC. They have a range of board games such as SORRY...Monopoly..Scrabble etc. The view is amazing from both the deck and the balcony. The neighborhood is clean and in the heart of downtown near ice cream...

"This was a fantastic property and Joel has thought trough everything to make it a fantastic set up. We commented as we left that he must have watched videos or read the book on how to create a great VRBO. Good stuff:1. He's very quick on communication and answered a bunch of questions;2. Very easy to check in with a code on the front door. Lights were on and there was a garage door opener on the front table, which allowed me to pull the van into the garage and unload. "House was perfect for our needs -- a long parents weekend visit to Colgate. Not exactly Colgate adjacent, but convenient to the airport, Syracuse and right on Lake Oneida and 30 min to Colgate. Just down the road from Verona Beach State Park and it's possible to keep walking to Sylvan Beach -- and with perfect fall weather it was an amazing walk. House was great to cook in and made for a fine remote work location. I only wish we'd made better use of the she shed /man cave b/c it is an awesome...
