"Although a little remote, the Barons was quite lovely. Very quiet and for us commutable to Leuven. Comfy clean beds and a nice en suite. Self service breakfast was continental in style but sufficient. The grounds of the Barons and woodland next door was lovely. The cafe up the road nice and De Kroon is a must do. "

"I highly recommend this traditional B&B across from the beautiful Grrot B egijnhof. Gina is a lovely and attentive hostess, offering a full breakfast. The room was spacious and the neighborhood is very quiet."

"When you travel, and it's not "other peoples' money", you like to find good value. This little hotel is excellent value. You can even get an omelet or fried egg with your included breakfast. The owner is welcoming and gracious. I happened to use the desk and wifi and they worked very well. "

"Unique Art Nouveau home that is beautifully decorated! Right on the bank of La Meuse River. Muriel (the host) was wonderful and very helpful with advice (where to eat, where to visit, etc.) We will definitely go back next time we visit Namur!"

"It was only one night for us, but we were certainly happy to visit Lavan B&B, very grateful."

"This is a very unique place to stay that oozes character. It is in a tiny community but has many options for entertainment at the hotel. The man who runs it is very responsive to needs. The place is decorated with a great sense of humor and an incredible movie theme. I used the location as a base to go in all four directions. It is do-it-yourself on meals but that suited me fine."

"Overall this was a nice place to stay Pros: stayed in the tiny house, very clean and nicely decorated, spacious bathroom, comfy bed, small fridge with 3 types of water, heater, tv and speaker, beautiful view, good dinner and they will reserve a table if you ask, amazing breakfast with a view!! "The room was simply tiny. The mattress was sat on pallets rather than an actual bed. The shower door was broken and hung loose in the shower. Duck tape was trying to hold it up. I had children with me so this was dangerous. There was no kitchen (which the advert said there was) and we had to was dishes in the bathroom sink. Finally, there was grease or dates smeared on the wall. The internet didn’t work, the fan was broken too. It was on a busy urban street, so if it wasn’t midnight revelers...

Excellent Airport location - superb food!

"Superb location for Charleroi airport, 5 minute car ride. Here on business and it was a nice stay. Clean big rooms, friendly staff and high level cuisine in the restaurant. I even came back in the same week as needed to stop one more night near airport. Highly reccomended and my go to Charleroi Airport stop over."
