"Our group of seven plus three dogs stayed in the farmhouse for a week during the summer and were very comfortable there! The house is large and very private, and we wish that it had been cooler weather so that we could have enjoyed a fire in the inside fireplace. We did somewhat miss having a dishwasher, but we survived! The listing and pictures are accurate, so you know that while it might not be the most luxurious accomodations, the affordability makes up for that. It is a drive to get back to...

"What an amazing home! It was cozy and had such a calm feel. Everything was crisp and clean; the beds were so comfortable and we slept so great! The owners thought of everything we would need and were easy to communicate with when we had a question. "This house is spacious, immaculate and seemingly brand new. It was the perfect space for our seven older adults but would be great for families with children as well. Everything you need is in both the kitchen and bathrooms. Beds are very comfortable with soft, luxurious linens. Plenty of very nice pillows. Towels are thick and fluffy. Close proximity to Polk City, Ankeny, and Des Moines, in a quiet family neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!"
