"This beautiful property was very clean, well furnished and a wonderful place for 5 friends to share a few days together. We had a delightful stay which included enjoying some local restaurants. There is also easy access to larger shopping areas. "

"Set just outside of Des Moines it is peaceful and pleasant in every way. The place is spotless, very nice and had everything we needed to fully enjoy ourselves. Used the hot tub several times and even had a fire outside in a fire pit. You can drive to all the hot spots in the city of Des Moines and then just a short drive to get back to the peaceful country side. The owners went above and beyond to make this trip absolutely perfect. I will be booking again no doubt. "

"The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The basement was great with activites for the kids and their own bedroom. Location was perfect for us, everything was close by. We needed a home to house a few families and this was perfect."

"Great location, close to amenities. Communication with owner was great - she made sure to send all the needed information before our stay so we could just get to the house and relax. Will definitely be staying here again when we're in the Des Moines area."

"I had a work trip and decided this place looked perfect to stay, and it was! Absolutely spotless and so cute! I was blown away by the hosts attentiveness, hospitality, and thoughtfulness! "12 day stay. The house was a great size, with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 in the lower level. We had our to children (7 & 3) stay in the full sized beds on the 2nd floor room. "We stayed because property is between IA State Fair, and our extended family in Minburn. Kids/Grandkids came down from Twin Cities and we from Chicago. Adel is a nice town and property is convenient in a nice neighborhood. Home is large and comfortable, property from 1930's? All appliances and kitchen and beds were in good shape. (Appreciated the A/C)! We had to work out some issues with the owner, but she responded quickly and appropriately. We all had a great time."

"We stayed here for a week while getting treatment for my son. The house was clean and had everything we needed. I especially loved all the extra comfy blankets everywhere. Property was fenced in and secure for my son. Communication from the owner as well as his brother were great. No complaints."
