I know some people might want the internet but to me this is the reason you come here. To remember how to interact with the world around you and each other. The kids and I played board games and cards at night. Walked the trails and enjoyed the creek in the day. Very peaceful. Would recommend. "

"We really enjoyed out stay at Scarlet Cabin! It was so quiet and peaceful. We did have a little confusion checking in but we called April and she took care of us. The weather didn't cooperate so we didn't get to enjoy all the amenities but maybe our next visit! We will definitely love to come back!"

"This was an excellent choice for our late summer getaway. The cabin & property were just as described and our 2-night stay was serene and relaxing. We had a question about the wi-fi code, but one call to April was all it took. She solved the problem quickly and courteously. We enjoyed fishing one afternoon and tubing the next. What a delight!"

"Right away we felt welcome and at home in this sweet little home. My family absolutely loved this house! Corinne has it decorated so cute and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked and there was plenty of room for my family of six. We especially appreciated the air-conditioning on those 96+ degree days! Corinne was very responsive and a wonderful host. We highly recommend this property!"

"The house was beautifully decorated. The view of the lake was gorgeous. I spent the majority of my time sitting on the porch reading. My husband spent all of his time fishing. He enjoyed catching so many types of fish. He only did catch and release but he had a great time. We went to just relax after a rough august and this place was perfect. "

"Wendel’s Place was the perfect place for my family to spend a relaxed week on red creek with my family. The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable and location is to die for. It’s quiet with a great view of the river and you can easily float from the cabin to City Bridge in two hours (good trip for small kids). We will be back. Probably soon."
