"I’ve stay at this hotel when it had the previous owners. Even know it’s in a middle of having a refurbishment the hotel was extremely clean and tidy, only one problem was the pillows being extremely thin. It was a really nice touch to have a kettle in the room but maybe have spoons instead of wooden sticks. But apart from that it’s all coming along nicely, i definitely prefer the key card instead of an actual key. Me and my partner will be back!"

"Big old Country House thats seen better days. Perfectly good for me passing through though and very clean. No food but Pub 200 yards away did an excellent carvery.Would certainly use again"

"We only stayed for one night. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. As we weren't very hungry we ordered room service sandwiches which came with lovely chips."

"This lovely small hotel has been beautifully remodeled from an old factory with original exposed beams and columns. Lovely large room with nice views of the river with swans gliding past. Had dinner and breakfast here and food was great. Staff is super nice. Very close to cathedral, shops, restaurants and river walk. Honestly can't fault it at all. Would recommend. "
