"Roy was an exceptional host, he was very informative about how to get to the property as the sat nav was a little bit unreliable. He showed us around the hut with all the facilities that were available. The hut had everything u could possible need. It was beautiful and relaxing and I cannot fault it at all. "The hut is in an off grid location. Perfect for a weekend away. Mandy had thought of everything for a comfortable stay. The hot tub is a great addition with amazing views. We had a slight issue on our last day where the hut ran out of gas but Mandy was kind to sort this. We would definitely recommend. "

We had a great stay from start to finish, enjoyed the beautiful garden surroundings, had a great pub lunch & enjoyed breakfast after checking out at the local bakery. "Our experience was perplexing from the start, with directions so inadequate that we had to ask the way. When we arrived I was attacked by geese at large in the grounds. Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities. "We really enjoyed our stay, The shepherds hut exceeded our expectations, well equipped, cosy and in a great private location overlooking the forest. The hut was so lovely and warm with central heating and a log burner, the bed was comfortable, and the fixtures and fittings looked brand new. Also the rainfall shower was a lovely surprise. Would recommend and will be back for another visit. Thank you"

"Much nicer than the photos! Beautifully clean and cozy! Very well equipped, everything and more than you would need, washer with dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwave. Comfy beds, beautiful linens, plenty of thick towels, nice tiled bathroom. One of the nicest cottages we’ve ever rented. They even put up a little Xmas tree for us! "
