"We wanted a little cabin in the woods away from the public and this home away from away was the perfect place. This cabin is equipped with all the most modern kitchen equipment one could ask for. It’s a cozy little place for a couple or a family of four. And the home host is very receptive to any concerns you may have. So worth the drive and stay."

"This home was absolutely beautiful, nestled away in the Pipestem State Park. It snowed the entire weekend and the host was gracious to give us great directions and assistance if anyone got stuck. Would recommend for a group ski trip to Winterplace!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the cabin and even better time exploring WV! If you’re visiting the area for the national park, it’s definitely worth seeing in the winter and you will enjoy even more peaceful trails due to less crowds. Nice simple cabin with tons of outdoor options to relax and enjoy nature. We really enjoyed using the wood stove as a cozy escape from the ice and snow! We will definitely be returning once the weather warms up!"

"The place was very small and cut up. It was dirty and had ants all in the kitchen. Every room was in some form dirty including showers and toilets. Dangerous stairs to get upstairs and down. Found slugs in basement where two bedrooms were located. Water dripped out of the ceiling onto kitchen counter. Dirty inside cabinets, drawers etc. no where near worth the amount per night. Completely unacceptable. Reached out to owner and her response was that she cleaned it when she was there. Some areas...

"Very clean cabin. Great check in process and communication with the owner was quick and easy. The area around is very rural and it takes a solid 15 minutes to get back to the main road. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Really liked the property. There were only 2 of us but it would have been more fun with a group. Great outdoor sitting space. It was cold and lots of extra blankets around. If you forgot something it was there for you. The only negative and it is a personal preference is there are other homes around. No one bothered us, we didn’t even see anyone. I felt perfectly safe, just a preference. The hosts were great. Called me to give me some tips to get there. Very appreciated."
