Apartments in Penang

"Check-in was horrible. I had to text someone to get the mailbox code to retrieve the key. My room was not in the building I booked. It was in a building 500 meters away. I had to wander around asking for help to find the building. I eventually found it. The aircon was not functioning. No hot water. Clothes washer was broken. No ceiling fan in the bedroom, only wires hanging. Only two threadbare dirty towels available. I will never come back."

"Self service check in but instructions were explicitly clear (no way you could get it wrong). The best apartment to stay, clean, spacious, good for 8 pax. Very close to a local market, eatery but away from the noise. Other than the previous trash which was not cleared when we check in, other than that its perfect for us. 10/10"

"Great place to stay! Steps away from the beach. Loved the pool with kids pool being a bonus. Having a wide selection of TV channels was great. Watched some Olympics. Plenty of dining options available with the night market being our favorite choice. The bus stop to Georgetown and other attractions right in front. Would recommend!"

"the places' location is great, the view from our 2-room apartment to the sea is stunning. While I kind of liked the setup of the Apartment some proper and professional renovation would do a lot of good, and overall cleaning would help. The major problem was that there were plenty of creepy crawlers and my daughter got bitten or whatever on the arm that we had to see a specialist at a hospital. "You would be lucky if you can even check in. There is no front desk and the property management do not pick up calls or respond to text or messages. They do not even email or send you any details. Book at your own risk! And have a contingency plan if you are not able to check in."

"We were so lucky to get this place, after our first night's accommodation turned out to be a dump. It was with a deep sigh of relief that we opened the door to find a room exactly as pictured in the listing. It was so comfortable to sit on the great sofa, looking out at a fantastic view (watching the cruise ships arrive and leave), and watching literally hundreds of tv channels.
