"The location of this apartment is right in the middle of the action. Grocery and laundry are minutes away. The listing advertises room for 3, but definitely not 3 adults. The folding bed (stored in the stairwell) is only 165cm (5'6") long, so not good for anyone but a child. When we arrived the third bed was outside the apartment and no bedding or towels for a third person was supplied. It’s tough to get to if you’re driving into Coimbra but worth it since it offers easy access to many main attractions, restaurants, shops, etc. It’s on the top floor so the ceilings would be an issue for someone over 6 ft tall but it was such a great location we’d definitely go back."

"The apartment is in a perfect location in Old Town. It is just off of the main pedestrian street and many of the sights, coffee shops and restaurants you will want to visit are a short distance away. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. "We enjoyed our stay at CBR boutique hotel. The room was beautifully decorated on a book theme, even in the toilet and shower stall. Kudos to the cleaning staff as everywhere was spotless, especially with all the nooks and crannys present in the stone carved books. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room very quiet at night, especially considering we were overlooking the suare. Marc on reception was very helpful and courteous. Unloading luggage was a challenge as we missed the small area we could park the car to unload, with construction going on in the street. So we carried on to the free carpark, directly across the bridge from the hotel, about a 5 minute walk. We were not crazy about the open bathroom with glass doors on the toilet. May feel awkward if sharing with friends. The hotel is in a great location, close to all areas of interest and we would definitely recommend it for a stay in Coimbra."

"The hotel and staff were beyond amazing. They were genuinely friendly and helpful immediately to any of my needs. The grounds, too, were very interesting. I spent 3.5 hours walking trails in the forest. It was delightful and relaxing. I want to come again and have my friends visit as well."

"We had a view of the river from our room. This hotel is in a beautiful rural location. It’s a little out of the way but you won’t go wrong having dinner at their restaurant, the food was delicious. If you are looking for peace & quiet this is a great location & hotel."
