"A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "

"Beautiful property with excellent hosts. John and Katy greeted us in person and even allowed us to check in slightly earlier. Immaculate accomodation with a very personal touch, a welcome hamper & even a basket of treats for out dog and a fenced area for the dog too. Thoroughly recommend, a great base for exploring the local area."

"If you are wanting a break away from it all in beautiful countryside with fantastic views surrounding you then you canâ€™t get better than this, itâ€™s beautiful peaceful setting is a real treat, if you need shopping etc then there are small villages quite close by and Hull is just a drive up the road, the proprietors Kevin and Silke are very knowledgable on the local area and are a lovely couple who go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one"

"Upon arrival, told a key and fob for alarm would be in key box, it wasn't. Opened door, alarm goes off. Having to stand there with all neighbours on street looking at us, trying to explain that im renting the property and don't know how to rurn alarm off, EMBARRASSING. Getting inside to find cob webs and spiders EVERYWHERE was not nice. Bunk bed is broken right on the middle so cannot be slept on. Master bedroom has damp and mold all over the wall, the host has tried to paint over it, not...
