"My wife and I brought our kids to Duncansville for the week to visit family for the first time since our son was born. It was amazing having a space of our own with room for both of our kids. This house is immaculate; it’s very clean and everything is thoughtfully organized for your stay. It comes equipped with just about everything you’d need including two travel cribs, a booster seat, and a fully stocked kitchen. The house is close to the road with private parking. "We enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive to all of our questions and was very prompt with anything we needed! On VRBO it’s listed as entire home but there were people staying above us. They never bothered us but just something to consider. The home is a weird layout but the host has but lots of touches on it to make it very homey! It is perfectly situated outside of society but close enough to get in some shopping and sight seeing! The coffee selection was an incredible touch! "

"We stayed here while waiting to move into a new house. The house was clean and had plenty of room for my family of 6. The house was set back a bit from amenities,however this made it very peaceful. The host was very accommodating allowing other family to visit us. The host was also quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had during our stay. This house will be a place we will continue to stay when visiting family."

"Traveling from the Harrisburg area. This hotel is right beside a Perkin’s Restaurant, which was why I choose it. There are malls close by but it is still reasonably priced, which is also why I chose it. Breakfast is included, but we originally were going to eat at Perkin’s, so this did not attract me. So glad we decided to eat breakfast at this hotel. It was awesome, including the coffee. There was a wide variety of foods and beverages and the area was nicely spaced out and clean. There was no waiting to get something because of it being crowded. I’ve been in lots of hotels where breakfast is included and I’ve been disappointed. I must say that this is the best. If breakfast is one of your priorities in picking a hotel, this hotel is a good choice. I want to recognize Brenda for the way she does a wonderful job in the kitchen and breakfast room, yet has time to interact with guests and make them feel special while they are visiting Altoona!!!!!! All the staff were very friendly, people oriented, and helpful. The only thing I found that is a negative to me is there is no mirror outside the bathroom area for someone to use for doing hair, makeup, dressing, etc. while someone else is showering, brushing teeth, etc. It would have been a time saver if there was. The bed was comfortable and the extra pillows made it better. We visit Altoona several times a year and will definitely stay here again!!!!"

"Nice property—clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, and overall, the stay was comfortable. The breakfast was limited with no hot food options, so keep expectations modest there. It was a bit noisy during our stay due to tournament families, but once the kids settled for the night, we were able to get some rest. A decent spot for a short stay."
