"The property was awesome. We especially enjoyed the marvelous ocean view. The only negative experience was the lack of air conditioning in the bedroom and the fan was very loud, because of this, it was impossible to fully enjoy our stay. Restrictions on temperature controls was also a negative. "

There are two beach umbrellas and 4 chairs at the property. Air conditioning worked without any issues (some issues were mentioned in previous reviews, we did not have any). "We had such a great time at Carlos' property in Humacao. Palmas del Mar is a great location with many beaches, pools, shops and restaurants within the community, as well as lots of additional amenities within Humacao proper. The property that we had originally booked had a maintenance issue shortly before our stay, so Carlos moved us to another of his properties, in Mare Sereno, which was absolutely gorgeous. "The condo was very nice, we especially enjoyed spending time on the balcony. Check in and out was easy and quick. We rented a golf cart so the teens could go off on their on, which they really enjoyed. There are chairs in the main grassy area that an attendant will unlock and take to the beach for you. "I just stayed for 2 days. I paid $350/night - I couldn't enjoy it because it was raining all the time. (But it's not their fault). Pros: location, pool, size of the apartment, balcony, cons: the apartment needs an upgrade: furniture, bed (make noises) bed sheets, bathtub, elevator was not working, the beach was full of seaweed and the tides too strong. If you are looking for luxury ...this is not the place for you."

"We had a wonderful stay here as a family of 4, including my husband and 2 young kids. The place was clean, updated, and had everything we needed. Was very nice having a covered balcony off of kitchen/dining room that we could enjoy day or night, as well as a large terrace up the stairs. Walking distance to pool that we usually had all to ourselves. Felt very safe in apartment and it was in quiet area. The host was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay. "The condo was perfect for the 5 of us adults. Beds/pillows comfy. AC was great as it’s hot in PR. Our kids are 20,21 and 22. Huge tv where they watched movies at night. "Aida is an amazing host who provided generous care to my family and I during our stay. The house is great and equipped with cold A/C. One thing to note about the property is DO NOT SWIM in the beach. Not only are there plenty of rocks but the current is way too strong to swim in — even for experienced swimmers.
