"The property was awesome. We especially enjoyed the marvelous ocean view. The only negative experience was the lack of air conditioning in the bedroom and the fan was very loud, because of this, it was impossible to fully enjoy our stay. Restrictions on temperature controls was also a negative. "

"We stayed here for two weeks- May 11-25 2024. The property is very nice, as pictured on the photos. The kitchen has everything you need for an extended stay. There are two beach umbrellas and 4 chairs at the property. Air conditioning worked without any issues (some issues were mentioned in previous reviews, we did not have any). "We had such a great time at Carlos' property in Humacao. Palmas del Mar is a great location with many beaches, pools, shops and restaurants within the community, as well as lots of additional amenities within Humacao proper. The property that we had originally booked had a maintenance issue shortly before our stay, so Carlos moved us to another of his properties, in Mare Sereno, which was absolutely gorgeous. We rented a golf cart so the teens could go off on their on, which they really enjoyed. There are chairs in the main grassy area that an attendant will unlock and take to the beach for you. "I just stayed for 2 days. I paid $350/night - I couldn't enjoy it because it was raining all the time. (But it's not their fault). Pros: location, pool, size of the apartment, balcony, cons: the apartment needs an upgrade: furniture, bed (make noises) bed sheets, bathtub, elevator was not working, the beach was full of seaweed and the tides too strong. If you are looking for luxury ...this is not the place for you."

"We had a wonderful stay here as a family of 4, including my husband and 2 young kids. The place was clean, updated, and had everything we needed. Was very nice having a covered balcony off of kitchen/dining room that we could enjoy day or night, as well as a large terrace up the stairs. Walking distance to pool that we usually had all to ourselves. Felt very safe in apartment and it was in quiet area. The host was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay. "The condo was perfect for the 5 of us adults. Beds/pillows comfy. AC was great as it’s hot in PR. Our kids are 20,21 and 22. Huge tv where they watched movies at night. Yoga mat provided and daughter did hot yoga on the roof top. We cooked most of our meals in the condo…numerous pots,pans,knives and utensils to make our meals happen. "We could have stayed here twice as long and still have wanted more. Such a beautiful, peaceful spot, right on the ocean. The owners are gracious and kind and a joy to talk to. The apartment was clean and comfortable, but the veranda is where we spent most of our time, with it's amazing view of the ocean. Loved watching the pelicans fishing and the boats going by. Just beautiful! We could not have found a better spot to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Can't wait to go back!"
