The only thing that could be improved, and I did mention this at reception, was the lack of suitable electric socket near a mirror, the hairdryer supplied in the room did not reach the mirror meaning you could not see your hair whilst drying it. "Good pub style hotel with a comfortable bed! A bit dated inside the rooms but adequate. Plenty of hot water and free WiFi. Parking is a little tricky due to it’s location."

"It took ages to check despite the bar being open. My nice but quite small but the general housekeeping could be improved. The basin in the tiny bathroom offered little or no hot water and the shower head was only adequate. The menu choice was disappointing but the food was nice. The Breakfast basket was poor. My overall opinion of the Crown was that it was expensive for what you got. It's not a place that I would return to. "
