"Check in took much longer than necessary. The person who checked us in did not ask to help with our bags. There were several flights of stairs we had to trek to get to our room. As we hauled our bags past the office, I even made eye contact with the person who checked us in and he averted his eyes. This was definitely not the Turkish hospitality I've received during all of my trips to Turkey. All of the furniture in the room was white and stained. "Hotel was reasonable value for the money paid - breakfast was the ususal Turkish ofering but no fruit juice included, only tea/coffee. The restaurant was also reasonable value for lunch/dinner - it was billed as the best restaurant in Patara, which it was based on our experiences, however, there were only a handful of places to eat in the locality, so comparison starts from a fairly low bar!"
