"This is the perfect property for a large, multi generational family. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by Valerio. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, the huge garden, the play park and the rural location. Dinner cooked for us by Valerio’s family was superb."

"We stayed in one of Giulio and Marco’s new apartments for a week and had a fantastic time. The amenities, pool, olive groves and sunsets are beautiful. It was easy to get to Pisa and Lucca (20 min) each. Giulio was extremely generous with his time, giving us a detailed tour of the farm and explaining how he is planning to increase biodiversity. Both he and Marco also provided lots of helpful tips on making the most of the area. Definitely recommend!"

"My partner and I enjoyed a ten day stay here with our sisters.The accomodation is beautiful, there is ample room and the 3 bedrooms suited us just fine. The views are absolutely stunning and the pool perfect after a days sightseeing. Erika, Giacomo and Pino are excellent hosts. We had a very warm welcome and the personal touches of cake, homemade limoncello, wine and olive oil on arrival were perfect, as were the home grown produce during our stay and the gift of olive oil on our departure. "After a curious approach. The owner met us there and showed us around. It was a very quite, beautiful mountain apartment. Details outdoors were evident and comfort inside was great. This is just a peaceful beautiful place which capped of our italian tour perfectly. To return i would stay at least 3 nights. It is worth it. The area is stunning with many things to do"

"A quiet place on the hillside surrounded by trees, a swimming pool for refreshment. The hosts are helpful. Needs more attention to cleanliness and updating some furniture. Wifi works fine but mobile connection is not working."

"The house is an absolutely stunning location. Breath taking views every morning, even if the weather did always play ball. There are some lovely areas to walk in and explore nearby and a few very nice local restaurants but these can get booked up very quickly. Even when it was raining we enjoyed our stay as the dense forests provided plenty of cover and there are excellent trips to caves and nearby cities such as Lucca and Barga that are easy drives. "This is a truly beautiful house with long views down to Lucca and olive groves all around. It is well-furnished and we slept really soundly. Massimo, the host, is extremely gracious and offers many great ideas for local activities and day trips, and once you find it the local supermarket is very well stocked. "We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."
