"Very peaceful place with great sun sets & night skies; outdoor space is fantastic, even in the winter but indoors is a bit tight for 12 people & 3 dogs (2 bedrooms are tiny; 1 bedroom is next to oil tank w/o windows so not ideal hangouts; dining table is small requiring eating in shifts; plus hot water runs out after 1-2 showers and iron sediments may appear in the water!). If you don’t mind these nuisances (we didn’t) it’s an amazing place to spend time together … can highly recommend it! "

"We stay. In Alton Bay each year for a couple of concerts at Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford. We extend it by staying for a couple of days at Lake Winnipesaukee The motel is perfectly located close to the venue and on the lake for swimming and boating while visiting BNH Pavilion. "The cabin was very clean when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable. The cabin has everything you need including many things in the kitchen to make meals if you want to. Towels, sheets, blankets, and swim towels were also provided. We enjoyed using the paddle boards and paddle boats. The pond was great for swimming and boating. The cabin has windows on all sides so we enjoyed lots of fresh air. It was also very quiet, restful, and peaceful on the pond. "
