"It was only after we arrived at the property we were told that the pool and our jacuzzi were both out of order. We wouldn’t have stayed there had we known before hand. We even ran out of hot water when taking showers at night. It seemed old and in need of many updates and the worst part is the general manager was not helpful at all. I wanted a full refund for showing up to a non functional hotel but the general manager only offered a coupon for a free weekend. It was the WORST experience...

"I live in Oregon but grew up and went to college in Maine. I rented Peter and family’s place a few weeks ago to spend some family time with my parents and brothers and my college friend. This was my favorite southern Maine VRBO rental. Beautiful, spacious and clean and we had an amazing time staying here. Well appointed kitchen, comfy beds and amenities. My husband and I spent 4 days cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, reading in the sunlight living room, listening to the river as we lounged in the hot tub, and snuggling up in front of the fireplace on chilly nights. Just perfect!"
