"The location was awesome, convenient for us to go to Big Bend NP. We liked the remote location. The hosts were very helpful and nice upon our arrival. Would like to stay here again. The place was very clean and had very nice features for our family. Had everything we needed for cooking our meals too. We had no problems at all with this place. Would recommend to anyone to stay here. "

Star Lodge: Stunning Solar Home under Dark Skies on Terlingua Ranch

"Out in the middle of nowhere but that’s part of the attraction. Terlingua itself is highly overrated so no need to be there. Takes 30-40 minutes to reach the park and another 30 to reach the Basin. But that’s the way it is around Big Bend. A really nice modern house. Be prepared to drive on dirt roads!"

As advertised.

"The property was clean and cozy, exactly as advertized. The owner does have a place onsite, as stated in the listing. They were not there while we were, but had they been, it may have been a bit too close. Again, its listed as such and the pictures are acurate. I suppose I let my imagination assume it was a bit further away. Regardless, the pripert was great and the accommodations were clean, cozy, and exceeded expectations."

"This place is wonderful really cool place to stay. The bad rabbit has an awesome vibe and lots of cool people to talk too. However, its really far from the park, easily 1.5 hour drive one way every day. The back entrance through marathon road really doesnt save much time. If you are going to drive this far anyways to see the park, might be better to stay in Alpine or something with more to do. "

Great environment

"All the comforts from home - in a stationary RV! Comfortable stay of the beaten track. The unpaved road leading up to the accomodation was bumpy. The tranquility is overpowering in a good way coming from the Houston area and yes - you can see the Milky way with the naked eye. Hosts are friendly and extremely helpful. Defintely recommend this to travellers wishing to escape to West TX"

Great place to stay close to Big Bend

"This is a combination RV Park and small hotel. Our room was nicely decored in a southwestern style. The bathroom had a great waterfall shower. The grounds were well maintained (desert style). The owner was very friendly and accommodating. It's located on the main road, quite close to Big Bend National Park, in a quiet area beyond the more touristy parts of Terlingua. The check-in process is contactless and worked smoothly. "

Quiet and Secluded

"Very quiet and secluded with nobody even close. Spacious with all the necessities for comfort living. Internet was super as there is no other connection with the outside world. Is though a drive to get to Terlingue, 30 miles. Something to consider. "

Terlingua Home Perfect location

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Terlingua home. It is spacious and was very clean! I just couldn't ever get the wifi to work for my phone, but we didn't really need it as we were only there in the evenings. The location is excellent for Big Bend National Park, Terlingua/Study Butte, and Alpine. I would definitely stay here again."
