"Just enjoyed a 3 night stay at Park Lodge. We were very happy with the overall appearance of the hotel and the staff were excellent. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the decor was good. The bathroom was a little on the cozy side, but functional, although I think a large person would struggle with the basin being very close to the sink. A slight downside (not the fault of the hotel) was the main road running outside our window. Lorries were trundling past at all hours, and even with the window closed it was quite noisy. Parking was excellent and the grounds were very neat and tidy. We didn’t eat at the hotel, so can’t comment on the food. We would definitely stay again."

"Motorcycle trip to Wales where we needed a base for the weekend. Staff could not be more welcoming and the pub is a really friendly place to spend the evening. Food is excellent and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back."

"The apartment we stayed in was enormous Two en suites one with a sauna. Even a down stairs toilet, brilliant views from the apartment. We would highly recommend the Macdonald plas."
