"The room I stayed in in this beautiful building was possibly one of the most beautiful I have ever stayed in. However when it came to the service of the staff there was a lot left to be desired... and this was in no means the fault of the staff of which there were only two... to run the bar and service the needs of the guests. "Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess. "Central, no fuss self booking / arrival. Unaware when booking is a late night pub/ club alight noise was not that bad with ear plugs. Room lovely bar the strong dam smell. Luckily I had lavender oil to hand."
