"My husband and I stayed for 6 days in a DC ocean view room. We had a great experience! Our butler Rowan’s was great with what little requests we asked of him. Our room was cleaned and stocked with fresh towels, snacks and beverages on our fridge daily. We celebrated my birthday and they went above and beyond in our room and dinner to accommodate. One night they hosted an event at Pescari that was for Expedia & Marriott guests and it was a great cocktail hour meeting management staff and winning prizes. The spa was amazing, I highly recommend Kenneth & Angela. Ignore the bad reviews as we ran into people on the resort who left a negative review, and found they were just the negative type who have nothing good to say. We had a great experience with nothing bad to report. We would book again in a heartbeat. "

"Overall this resort is very nice. Beautifully designed and decorated and nice art work throughout. When we were there it was very quiet. Beach is small. Prickly Pear Island is a bonus and a beautiful spot to spend the day via a short complimentary boat ride. Food is OK not amazing. Most of the staff were very friendly and great service but at times the service was slow. This area is quite remote and not within walking distance to anything. St. Johns is 15 minute drive and English Harbour and area is 45 minutes. Great spot to relax and unwind but not much to do in the area. "

"While the rooms were basic, the property as a whole was well maintained. The room was cleaned everyday, and we were given fresh towels each time. A nice beach was right outside, and you could hear the ocean while falling asleep. The restaurant on property Mamma Mia had delicious food with a good amount of options at a resonable price, and the hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner were great. Taxis were easily summoned for transportation as we went to Dickensons Bay one day (15 min.), and Shirley Heights BBQ (50 min.) another. Keep in mind that this property is not ideal to walking to many places, although we did walk to Le Bistro one night for dinner and a coffee shop Kaffeine one morning. You can eat at the restaurant part of the all inclusive at the adjacent property (Sotto Vento) with a reservation, but it is quite expensive for non guests. During the week, the beach was very quiet and there were plenty of lounge chairs, especially if you walked across to the second beach at the adjacent property (1-2 min walk). It did get busier Friday and Saturday though. While the room did have a fridge and stove top, the stove top did not work well and there was no microwave in our unit which would have been nice. (I did learn upon leaving while talking to other guests that some did have microwaves.) Also, it was difficult to get hot water for a shower. Overall, a great experience with very friendly owners and staff. I would definitely recommend staying here!"

"I loved our week-long stay in this second-floor studio with a balcony view of the ocean. The host, Andrew, is responsive and attentive and his small staff was also very invested in making our stay comfortable and relaxing. The full kitchen makes it easy to prepare your own meals. The bed was comfortable. It was cleaned daily. The neighborhood is residential and any shopping or restaurants are at least a 10-minute drive, but Andrew offers to help with car rentals or taxis. For us, being off the beaten path was exactly what we wanted. I’d love to return and stay again. "
