"Mountain house was an oasis that had us wish we were staying longer. Great setup with the two bedrooms and their own bathrooms. Calm, quiet, and a great view. The restaurant in the neighborhood was great for when we didn't want to cook and the pool at the house was great to hang out in with a cocktail. Kitchen is well stocked with spices and cookware. Will definitely be back!"

There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance that are pretty unique but other than that not much going on which is exactly what we were looking for. "We chose to stay mid island for the past few nights of our trip so we could experience more local culture in the middle and East End. We had no problem locating the house. We asked for directions a few times and everyone was very helpful. We chose this accommodation due to its views and proximity to a swimming beach. Upon arriving we noticed the construction of new homes is blocking the views to the sea from the main floor. You can still see the ocean from the upstairs bedroom decks, however....

She is incredibly responsive and so accommodating. "Our large family group enjoyed our stay at Palmetto Bay. As native Hondurans, the property was reminiscent of the natural flora and flauna that has been removed from more popular parts of the islands. The more natural feel was accompanied by an increased wildlife presence which has its pros and cons. Management was very responsive and the restaurant food was really good. We used the dive shop to go snorkeling which was also a 5 star experience. It was the little things that made this a 4 star...
