"After a days skiing my husband ran a bath, got in and pressed the button for bubbles. Lumps of black scum poured out - he leapt out. told reception who said someone would come. left water in bath to show them. day 2. Nice cleaner emptied bath, husband ran bath in evening. more lumps of black scum. "Llegar puede ser un pelín complicado pues es un camino que rodea la montaña y que aunque asfaltado, es estrecho y sin iluminación (viniendo desde Andorra) y sin iluminación así que mirad de venir durante el día. "Great hotel/resort. Pet friendly (we stay with our dog) and staff was really helpful too. Breakfast was good too.. Rooms does not have A/C. On the other hand, you have the Church Clock that bangs every hour 24/7 so you can hear in the night as well. I think the owner of the hotel should talk with the Church to avoid the sounds at least at night. Normal price for what you get."

"We did not stay at the Royal Tanau as it was closing for season end, but we were relocated to the Eurostar La Pleta, which was amazing overall. Very nice service, every detail very well looked after. Smooth van service to the ski lift"

"Very cluttered and dusty. Have allergies so a nightmare. No hot water despite asking twice. Towels old and frayed and asked for replacement. Such a shame as was supposed to be a treat after working on campsite for 7 months but no hot bath and beds squashed against the wall. Regret the money spent on a treat that actually wasn’t. The food in the restaurant was very good."

"Cannot imagine there is a better option in Espot. The room was nothing fancy, perfect for us to return to after two days of hiking in the National Park. Comfortable beds, clean and a great continental breakfast each morning along with friendly and helpful staff is exactly what we needed and received. The recommendations for dinners in town was also helpful and did not disappoint. "

"Impressively poor in so many ways. We only took it as a last resort, and you should have the same approach. Room door almost impossible to open because rubbed on floor - and that was AFTER they sent us to the wrong floor to find the room. No internet because "it's too weak to work there". Dangerously broken steps to rear balcony/patio, which was too overgrown to use anyway. See photo. Basically this is a dormitory-style place for young foolish skiiers and not much else."
