"Overall the property and stay were fine for me. I noticed that the staff, while attentive if you needed them to be, were a bit gossip-y with one another, and one seemed to be working on resolving an issue with a pet adoption during their work hours which I found to be unprofessional and irritating to have to overhear while eating in the dining room. Otherwise, the stay was fine. "

The Railroad Inn looked good on Expedia so I took the chance. I loved it! Super accommodating staff when I needed late check in, and a clean room with a comfortable bed. Only problem is that we stayed on a busy night and the initial lot and the overflow lot were both full so we had to park elsewhere when parking was included as part of the advertisement."

"Hotel staff was great. They gave us sleds to use on the hills next to the hotel. Hotel could use some updates but it was clean. The breakfast was great but the staff that took care of replenishing the breakfast and keeping things clean went above and beyond. He was up wiping tables constantly and making sure everything was clean and organized at the buffet, he even offered to make my son a special breakfast the following day but we were leaving. Very impressed! "
