"My family and I had a wonderful time at Whispering Pines. The location was perfect with deer sightings each morning. There were several nice walks/hikes nearby. It was exactly what we had expected and hoped for. Very clean and spacious and most importantly relaxing - we didn’t need to worry about anything! Wish we could have stayed longer - thank you! "Stayed with 2 other couples. Plenty of room to spread out- we would have been fine with a 4th couple. Beds were comfortable, house was clean, host responded very quickly to a couple small issues that we were able to resolve promptly on our own. Loved the hot tub and firepit out back! So quiet there, and the house had everything you could need! We especially loved the little ‘forgotten items’ box as one couple forgot toothpaste and another forgot shampoo. Neighbor was very nice and jumped our car when the battery died. Great location so close to many attractions. This is not a luxury cabin by any means, but the charm and cleanliness was on par!"

"Property was great for our stay. We were a family of adult siblings gathering for some time together while taking in Mt. Rushmore, Devils Tower, the Badlands, etc. Property was a great location to stay - many of the desired locations were 2 hours away, but the home was centrally located to them all. Home was well stocked and served our needs. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was great to relax in the evenings, although we really didn't have as much free time as we would have liked to just hang around the house. We checked in Monday and out on Saturday, but wished we would have added a couple of extra days just to be enjoying the house. House was secluded, but not isolated; there are a few neighboring houses, but we did not hear anything from any of those houses. Host was responsive to our questions. As noted in the description, two bedrooms are open/lofted. One bedroom, as well as the bathroom, is accessed through the other. We were able to work around that, but it is definitely something you want to consider before renting. Would definitely recommend staying at this home to enjoy the view!"

"Three of my family members and I stayed in this spacious cabin situated in a beautiful location. The cabin was clean and well equipped. Check in and check out was no problem. The host was responsive to the one question that I had. I highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for a quiet location in the woods that is conveniently located near the things to see in the Black Hills."

The Cabin itself was just what we were looking for, very quiet location with lots of wildlife visiting every morning and sometimes in the evening. Inside the cabin is very cozy and warm feeling when we were inside. If anyone is looking for a place to stay while visiting the area this is your place. Ben and Terry"
