"The Cedar Cabin was a great place to get away for an extended winter weekend. It was just right for the two of us and our pup. The White Pass Recreation area is a short drive away and there are other trails in the Packwood area worth exploring. Though small, the cabin had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed walking around the grounds and sitting out by the outdoor firepit. The area was particularly peaceful and quiet. In general, everything was great, I especially note the wonderful atmosphere of the interior, a wonderful fireplace with crackling and warmth, a beautiful jacuzzi in a wonderful place, comfortable pillows and warm blankets. "I have stayed in several cabins in Ashford but this was by far my favorite. The hot tub was phenomenal. Roomy with powerful jets, covered from the rain, and private. My partner and I (late 20’s) actually had more fun with the kids gaming table than we would have thought. Host gave clear instructions and great communication. This was perfect for a romantic/relaxing getaway and I definitely would stay here again!!"
