Just as we were about to reach out to the host, Peggy and Jon arrived to let us know that power was out in the area due to high winds. They had provided us with lanterns and flashlights to get us through until the power was restored. They also gave us access to the basement of the house as severe weather was expected. "This place is beautiful and perfect! We had a bachelorette party on Labor Day weekend. We enjoyed the pool & there was plenty of room for everyone. The hosts are very nice and brought us fresh eggs and honey that was delicious. Their dog Dakota is so sweet. We went into Hermann (only 15 minutes away) and ate at the 4th Street pizzaria which eas also excellent. We all loved this place so much we're talking about having annual trips back. "
