"The weather was bad the day we arrived but we where very happy with the way the cabin sat, privacy and just a really cute setup. The title i gave is because we had two beautiful bald eagle flying around just off of the back deck on our second day. If you know the song salsbury hill maybe you will understand. "It served us well for what we needed & the property manager was very nice & informative, but it is on a church camp site, so there were other activities going on that had other people walking by the property. Not a big deal, just something that would've been nice to know beforehand. "

"Absolutely beautiful home. Myself and a group of 15 men came to the area for side by side riding. Found this place and so glad we did. Amazing home plenty of room and parking for all our rigs. Melinda and Mike are the most amazing host I have ever experienced in a travel. They fixed our group a healthy breakfast and made sure our stay was amazing. Will definitely be back to this home for a stay in the future. "

"We stayed a few days in Steeleville, MO, during our Rte 66 road trip thru MO. Our host was absolutely wonderful! We ended up arriving later in the evening, in the dark! She actually contacted us, providing directions and maintained contact with us until we arrived. She made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival... even a bottle of wine! With her vast knowledge of the area she was able to provide so many excellent suggestions for food, shopping and site seeing. We LOVED the quaint...

"The house was decorated very nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans, dishes andutensils! The shower caddy had a hairball and under the sink was disorganized and gross. Overall it was great.This would be amazing in the summer time!"

"We went during the fall during thanksgiving. The cabin was small but very cozy. Our kids loved the bunk bed. The fire stove kept the cabin extremely warm as long as we had wood to burn. "

"Was looking for a place that was well kept, furnished and clean. Local to both golf and floating , plenty of amenities , plenty of room for our group, plenty of parking space . I mean when I say that this place checked ALL THE BOXES. When I booked , the owner Caroline reached out , and I knew from then on , she had our best interests at heart. She got us in contact with both the golf course and the float company. She made the process very smooth and easy. The cabin was absolutely fantastic!!!...

"Our stay at this property was wonderful. We were able to plan based off the detailed pictures in the listing, and everything was accurate to those pictures and then some! We were a large group of adults, but we had plenty of space, towels, blankets, cooking items & appliances, fridge space, and activities to fill our time. Our group especially loved the pool and fishing lake. Would definitely recommend!"

"I accidentally booked the wrong dates for our trip and didn’t realize it until our departure date! I was frantic, but the manager allowed us to use a different cabin - Sassafras! The entire property is beautiful! We had an amazing trip and will definitely return!"

"We had an amazing time! It was a wonderful quiet get away. Just what we needed to recharge. The property was wonderful, great trails in the woods, coffee in the morning on the deck watching the fog rise off the water, yoga on the dock & wine/bourbon on the deck in the evening. We're already planning our trip back in the spring. And what a wonderful place for the dogs. I've stayed at a lot or VRBO's & haven't had one as well stocked as this one or as welcoming for the pups.
