"Great view of the lake, tucked back in the woods. Nice place. Only down fall was since you are in the woods the acorns are all over the deck and hoping one doesn't hit you in the head. But other than that it was great."

"This cottage is close to shopping and dining. It's clean and and comfortable for a short stay. The bathroom could use a better lock on the door (only a small chain, hard to hook) and only a couch and 4 dining room chairs to sit on which was a little awkward with 4 adults, but other than that it was great! "

"This place is beautiful and perfect! We had a bachelorette party on Labor Day weekend. We enjoyed the pool & there was plenty of room for everyone. The hosts are very nice and brought us fresh eggs and honey that was delicious. Their dog Dakota is so sweet. We went into Hermann (only 15 minutes away) and ate at the 4th Street pizzaria which eas also excellent. We all loved this place so much we're talking about having annual trips back. "

" The house was absolutely beautiful and every room was decorated in early 1900s decor, but had all the modern conveniences one would need for a relaxing and restful experience. German beer steins lined the kitchen cabinets and every where you turned you could see country/German themed antiques. The property was large and well maintained. Every afternoon we would take a stroll around the stocked pond and in the evenings we'd relax in the private hot tub. If you are seeking a place to get away...
