"As is so often in the case, the people make the difference! The staff at this hotel and its accompanying restaurant are above par and so welcoming and accommodating. You should know that the hotel is on the marina as it says, but that means that it is quite out of the way and not a cheap Uber from the airport luckily the hotel does offer a shuttle system which we used to get to the airport The accompanying restaurant staff, especially the bartender are absolute gems and made this out of the way...

If you’re charming enough, you can ask the driver the help you make a last minute detour! The rooms were spacious, and was surprisingly sound proof despite being right next to the airport. "Very nice hotel, reception and breakfast staff very friendly and polite. Room was nice. Only two (minor) comments of note: lighting needs updating (yellow lighting makes room dim), and shower is odd position but still works perfectly fine. Usual Italian morning breakfast."

"The Republic is a beautiful Hotel, and conveniently just steps away from the train station. They have a lovely breakfast in the morning, the bed was very comfortable, the room was gorgeous and the staff are superb! I'm so glad I chose this hotel for my stay in Rome- 5 stars all around!"

"Hotel was great, the staff was extremely helpful and nice. They were always attentive. Right next to Termini a 25 min walk to Patheon 20 min walk to Trevi fountain. Subway is a 7 minute walk. "
