"The hotel is in an idyllic location very near the south coast of Tromoy island, with a pebbly beach and cafe within easy walking distance and a petrol station/shop and also supermarket within a mile or two. It is on Google Maps which is how we navigated our rented car there - our car sat nav did not know how to reach it! "This is one of my go-to hotels for business in Oslo as it is super close to the central station but still offers a very comfortable and luxurious experience. Staff is always helpful and friendly and the rooms are great. Very comfortable beds. The gym is in two rooms and is well-equipped. The spa is also lovely to enjoy after a busy day. The rooftop restaurant has great staff and great food too, and the breakfast buffet is probably one of the best ones (at least in the nordics). "

"As a museum professional I think it is amazing that such an old building can be put to modern use but with respect for the old building. However our room was cramped in relation to the prize we paid for it, and it was very hot. The least the hotel could do in a building where installing AC is impossible, is to provide fans. Also there naturally were no elevators, but the hotel could have provided porters, which would also have been historically correct. Our 5 course dinner was good, but one...
