I really loved the breakfast, because I felt all of the dishes worth eating were delivered well, and they weren't overwhelming or gimicky. Just good ol' Japanese and Japanese-Western dishes. I didn't like the dinner because I felt a lot of them were kind of gimicky. I was a bit disappointed that none of them felt like they were representative of Hokkaido dishes though."

"Hotel is rather old and not well maintained. Water flask is dirty and had black particles. Hotel is backward and there is no wifi. But it gives an interesting experience of traditional Japanese living. Dinner provided is quite good but breakfast is simple."
