Property is located close to Dotonbori and between 2 stations - Namba & Shinsaibashi stations - which allows easy access to many parts of the city. Being close to Dontonbori also allows ease of access to food and essentials like medication, beauty products and souvenirs in Don Quixote nearby. However, the rooms, are designed with form over function. The carpet within the room is dark blue/black which makes the rooms feel smaller than it actually is. The use of spot lighting also makes straightforward tasks like combing your hair / shaving slightly more challenging as you have to tilt/position your head to be under the light. The hangars in the room are metal with a small open end at the top of the triangle where the collars of your shirt / jacket rests and if you are not careful, it my snag the liner of your jacket. Certain rooms also have their windows face offices approximately 10 metres away. My room happens to have the windows face said offices’ corridor and smoking room entrance in the other building. Bed is comfortable along and the presence of a washer/dryer in the room is very much appreciated. If an air purifier, practical hangars as well as better lighting is installed it would be an easy repeat visit for me every time I visit Osaka.

The property is walkable to Dotonbori as well as the train station. We had the most spacious, clean and nice view room with our own laundry. Plus the staff are very approachable and helpful. Just be careful walking around the areas where there are ongoing road work.

A great place to stay. Good breakfast, friendly helpful staff and nice rooms EXCEPT they are dark! Modern nice place…good environment. But so dark it’s hard to see and a little depressing. Add some lights and it’s a winner. As is…..it’s a bit of an issue.

Hotel in central Osaka. Walking distance to all the sightseeing spots. Only complaint is the rooms are very dark, shower had weird odour, and you’re unable turn off one of the lights (which made sleeping difficult). Overall service and hotel staff are amazing. Our luggage transfer was not at the hotel when we arrived but the staff did an amazing job on expediting the luggage to us on the same day!

Modern, funky and beautifully designed! It was my favourite hotel of the whole Japan trip!! Staff were brilliant and didn’t want for anything. FamilyMart on nearest corner and excellent okonomiyaki place opposite were great too! Very close to Dotombori but quiet street.

Simply outstanding, super clean hotel with an exceptional staff. Located in the best part of Dotombori in Osaka, it’s a quiet area with lots of bars, restaurants, and shops. Less than a five-minute walk from the Glico Man. The hotel provides all basic toiletries free of charge. The hallways are quiet and have a dark theme; the room itself is also slightly dim compared to most hotels, but brightens up once the blinds are open. For me, the location couldn’t be better—I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Osaka.
