"This property checked all the boxes for our Shenandoah getaway. The cabin is perfectly located, nestled in a quiet neighborhood right at the trail head for The George Washington National Forest. There is a great general store, Kites, right at the beginning of the street, we went there daily for coffee, breakfast sandwiches, muffins, local products, etc. The cabin is a short drive to downtown Luray (we enjoyed Gathering Grounds coffee and walking the Hawksbill Greenway path through town). The Thorton Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Forest is a 20 minute drive from Luray and a great starting point to explore the park. The cabin itself is spacious, clean and loaded with amenities (laundry, gas fireplace, 2 bathrooms, outdoor hot tub, gas grill, etc.). We particularly enjoyed having a large fenced in backyard to let our dog out. The owners were prompt and courteous in all correspondence and made booking this stay a breeze. Will definitely return in the future."

"My wife and I have stayed in more than a few cabins in the past and I have to say, so far this was definitely one of our favourite places. If there was a way to leave 10 stars, I would. The place has an amazing view, not only from a deck below but also from the balcony and the bedroom upstairs. We were also very touched by a little sign of “welcome” on the kitchen counter personalising my name. And we definitely appreciated finding a pile of sticks near the fire pit prepared in order to help with fire. That was very thoughtful. This will definitely be place to visit again!"

"Charming cottage was extremely clean with very comfortable bed and couch. Fridge came in handy, and it was easy to view different tv apps/programs. We loved the property and felt like kids playing the games in the yard…what a great set-up with a fire pit and plenty of nice seating! Julie was great and we highly recommend her property. "

"Even though all travelers were given rooms all next to each other (instead of spreading everyone out) it was still very quiet. The offered breakfast was purportedly just granola bars and a banana which was very slightly disappointing, but we found an excellent restaurant nearby that made up for it. "
