"Went with friends for a weekend getaway and we had the best time. The space was clean and had everything you needed to have a relaxing fun weekend. We ended up spending most of our time in the cabin because we were having such a good time! Hot tub was a great touch and clean."

"To our absolute delight, this property was fully Christmas decorated. Outside of the Christmas theme, this property is clearly well maintained, loved, and has a homey touch. It had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook all our meals. The wood burning fireplace was a loved utility"

"The home, location, and amenities are nice. Nice view from the deck and hot tub area. The fire is nice in the winter and the home has a cozy feel. The memory foam beds are also nice. The wifi is pretty spotty so if you have teenagers, be prepared! This is a nice part of Virginia!"

"When we showed up, we were convinced that this cabin was brand new and that we were the first people to stay there. It was immaculate. Beautiful construction, very well stocked kitchen, lovely front porch with great views, super comfortable beds. And a great location for exploring the surrounding areas. Highly recommend hikes in the Lost River state park, pizza and Lost & Found, and pool at Red's Broken Spoke."

"We enjoyed recharging our batteries with our weekend at the lodge. Beautiful home and views. We loved sitting at the firepit catching up with our dear friends who came along with us. Lots of fresh air and laughter. If you need a get away, I highly recommend this home. "

We wanted a low key getaway for Christmas this year and this property was AMAZING! I brought a small Christmas tree for Christmas, but was so pleasantly surprised that a Christmas tree was already there! This place lived up to my expectations and more. The hot tub was amazing! "The house was very clean, and the view was nice. The host was communicative and responsive, which we really appreciated. During our stay, the hot tub did not work which was disappointing but the host was quick to respond and ultimately provided some compensation for the inconvenience. A few things that may be helpful to know - the fireplace did not always turn on since it was on a thermestat (the temp in the room had to be pretty cold for it to ignite), the third bedroom is the basement/bottom...

"Everything was easy: check in, temperature control, cooking, resting, and finding activities. Too cold for canoeing unfortunately, but we loved the view of the river nonetheless! Great for mountain goer's of all experience levels."
