"Very happy with this hotel for a stop over. May be 2 stars but was super clean and comfortable which is what you need after a long drive. Staff very friendly. We needed air con and pet friendly and this place had both. Don’t actually know how they are making any money as it’s such good value. Would definitely stay here again. You can park your car right outside your room too and there is a restaurant next door with great French food. Made it a really easy stop for us "

"We booked this hotel mainly because it had an evening reception and a restaurant as we were arriving on a Saturday evening. The Expedia website stated that 'The front desk is open daily from 5 PM - 11 PM' and 'This hotel features a casino, a restaurant and a bar/lounge.' However, when we arrived at about 6.30pm we found the hotel locked and deserted! "We stayed here for two nights, the room and bathroom were superb, facilities were excellent and just a short drive to Cognac. Very quiet at night, we enjoyed a very good nights sleep. Beautiful surroundings, well worth a visit. The owners were very helpful and friendly, helping with restaurant bookings and local information. Parking is available on site. "

"I stayed here with my mum during our roadtrip through France. We only stayed here one night and arrived in the evening, so didn't get to enjoy much time there. However the house was stunning and the room was beautiful and comfortable. We were very tired and were happy to be able to recharge.
