Holiday Park Resorts in Nouvelle-Aquitaine

"All the staff were very friendly and helpful The manager/restaurant manager was brilliant and gave us ideas for trips. Hotel is tired which was reflected in the price but we were upgraded to breakfast, lunch and dinner which was fantastic as the food was brilliant. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our 4 night stay but this wasn’t a problem as we didn’t spend any time in the room although AC would have been good. The area is stunning and the people are great so overall a brilliant experience "

"Our stay was towards the end of the season: September and service stopped after lunch until 18.00 when the bar re-opened. However, there were plenty of cafes and bars on the seafront to take advantage. Built to represent an ocean liner there were plenty of long corridors and stairs, so if you wish to test your fitness here is the opportunity. Food in the buffet restaurant was very good. "Not as customer friendly as a full fledged hotel stay ( this is a resort village, not an hotel), It has perks (animations, entertainment and vacation spirit). . The only minor issue, the inside parking is located inside a set of pine trees, Some parking places are very difficult to access (partially blocked by the trees), and the number of places is pretty small, if you arrive late (after 8:00pm,9:00pm, you will have to park outside in the street (there is plenty of room,though)"

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The cabins are clean and efficient and we enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoons. The staff were very friendly to us non-French speaking folks. Our major disappointment was that, although a restaurant is on the premises, we found out when we checked in that it was already fully booked for dinner both nights of our stay. We were able to get reservations for breakfast; breakfast was adequate, but not outstanding. If would have been helpful if the Hotels.com...

"Terrible place "

"We really liked the sites as it was convenient to get to La Rochelle and Rochefort. Fouras is a great town with lots going on; nice selection of restaurants. The pool was nice but people were not following the rules of no vaping aloud (maybe more/clearer signs or staff mentioning it to visitors would help). The bathroom was a bit smelly at the start but with ventilation that improved (there were no shelves in the shower area so that was not practical). We had plenty of towels and it was great...
