"Lovely little cottage in a peaceful location in Métabief area. Host was very communicative leading up to our arrival and made us feel welcome. Cleaning was arranged prior to arrival and they kindly gave us access to everything at the property. Great base for visiting Jura region and lakes north of Lake Geneva. Lake Neuchâtel is about an hour away and we visited Chamonix which was about 2 1/2 hours away."

"DON’T BOOK!!! The host cancelled the stay 2 hours before checkin after I had already landed in Vegas on the busiest weekend with all other hotels booked. I had to book another hotel & pay nearly quadruple what I would normally have paid. And then they refused to answer to refund the stay for days. $1300+."

"Un groupe de 8 amis venus passer un week end entre amis, nous avons fait du vélo de descente, le logement est très bien équipé, le sauna à été bien apprécier. "

"Very good location close to the centre of metabief and the ski slopes could ski in ski out just perfect for getting to ski school. Property could do with a little TLC plumbing choked constantly ,sockets hanging out of the wall .Family room on top floor has very little head room not really suitable for adults "

"Merci à David pour son accueil sympathique dans ce joli chalet. Bon confort pour 2 couples avec enfants. Le poële offre une ambiance chaleureuse , la terrasse exposée plein sud permet de profiter du soleil tout la journée. La literie est de bonne qualité. En bref un très bon séjour, nous recommandons sans réserve."

"Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Le chalet est très confortable et très bien équipé. Nous étions quatre dont deux enfants. A l’entrée du village il permet d’y circuler facilement. Le village est au cœur d’une très belle région avec beaucoup de très beaux sites, activités et très belles balades à faire."

"Logement dans son jus, manque un coup de frais à la vue de son tarif. L’aménagement extérieur est inexistant, loué pour 6 personne nous étions à l’étroit à 2. Le ménage laisse vraiment à désirer… Dommage le concept est interessant et a du potentiel!"

"We had a pleasant two night stay at Auberge des Grands Bois. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It could have benefited from air conditioning but there was a Dyson Air Fan available and fortunately the weather was not too warm. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delivered to the room. The venue was very convenient both to Lausanne and Geneva and there was ample parking at the hotel. We had a meal at the restaurant which was very good but we were in the courtyard and it began...
