"This property was a scam and expedia was of no assistance in helping me get my money back. From before I reached Jamaica I contacted expedia to let them know I was unable to get in contact with the property. I did not have access to the property and yet expedia sees no issue with taking my money to give to these scammers."

"This property was awesome—The property owner (I assume) was in contact with me and was available for any assistance. We had adequate towels, linen, etc. My daughter left things behind and Dahlia contacted me even before we realized things were left behind, and offered to, actually shipped them/ it back. There were only two things that I did not like: access to even the closest restaurant, and Country Store was worse part as we had to walk the busy Jamaican street and do so without sidewalk. It...

"I travel often to Jamaica - staying at different villas and this stay was beyond expectations. The villa is even more beautiful than the pictures depict. Staff here is extremely hospitable and professional. Clayton the butler was friendly, always available when needed and accommodating to every request - morning or night. "I really enjoyed my stay at this property. First thing was the fact the housekeeper was waiting for us when we arrived even though we were about 2 hours late on our checking (shout out to Ms. Lee). "I booked this property for myself and family of 6 and we stayed comfortably with ages ranging from 9 yrs old to 73. I found the location to be perfect positioning for a base to tour the island from. I would suggest having a vehicle or reliable taxi service as the centre of Ochie is only 5 minutes away but realistically 20 mins walking down hill from the door. We loved the complex the property is in. The security to get in is tight and also polite but this leaves you with a real sense of safety...

"We had a fabulous time at Brown Shuggah Villa. We were 6 Adults and three children under 3, multi generations and it worked perfectly. The garden was lovely and fenced so no one was escaping! The pool although small was perfect. We thought being virtually part of the house may have been an issue, however this was not a problem at all. In fact it was a relief because someone was always there.I think what makes this place special is the staff. We all came home so relaxed. Nothing was too much...

"This is so far the best place I rented in Jamaica - it's close to Ocho Rios and kinda in the middle of the country so you could go anywhere you want. The house is just as described and as you see it in the pictures - very nice, convenient, equipped with everything you may need, even for cooking. Communicating with the host was easy and breezy. The gated community is safe and quiet. We definitely will book this house again for our next vacation in Jamaica if it's available."

"Wonderful staff , the chef accommodating my husbands Alpha Gal allergy was such a blessing! We had a wedding proposal with J and staff making it PERFECT! The views and grounds are to die for! We loved everyone and everything about this place! We felt so safe all week! They have two German Shepards on the property that belong to the owners that were so gentle and very protective of the home! We highly recommend Golden Cloud!"
