"Amazing location right off the decades old lava flow that takes you to the ocean! Gorgeous surroundings and quaint haunts just down the road. Nice area to explore and quick drive to all sorts of things to see and do! The home is well appointed, the bed super comfortable, and the ocean breezes, the sound of the waves and the coconut tree reeds blowing in the wind lulled us to sleep each night! Great stay here and highly recommend! Owner is good communicator and very responsive to questions...

Was out again in the morning, but I didn't need it. Dog was fun for a time and we were supplied with treats to allocate as desired. "This is not a luxury resort, this is a wonderful little slice of rural Puna. This was my second stay, and definitely not my last. Don’t expect luxury amenities because that isn’t what this place is. It is a charming little room in the middle of an ohia forest."

"This newly renovated apartment was a spacious retreat for our family of 4. It was very well equipped for cooking meals and everything we needed and asked for was provided. Tony and Samira were fantastic hosts! They even let the kids feed the goats and chickens, which provided great entertainment running about! "This is a wonderful off the grid property away from all the hustle and bustle. The ocean views are spectacular. You can just wander a few hundred feet to enjoy the ocean and all the sea life. "Overall, it was a good stay, and I would stay here again. The view and sounds of the ocean were amazing as promised. The beds were comfortable, which is a huge priority for me. The location is not super convenient to activities, but it is a quiet neighborhood. The only major complaint for us was the living room furniture. Every piece was uncomfortable and falling apart. There was no really comfortable place to sit together and chat. "
