"Katie's guest house was ideally located and just right for us to see and dance our way through mardi gras this year. It was our first time in the area and we had fun exploring the Atchafalaya swamp, the dance halls and bars and the parades and celebrations for mardi gras. Our favorite Cajun band is Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys so we were in the right place at the right time! The only problem was which place to go because so much is happening all over, everywhere, at the same time."

"Beautiful home with plenty of room with family and friends. Heavy smell of iron from the water and you can hear the early morning traffic from the front bedroom but only in the morning during the week. Otherwise it was quite & peaceful. "

"Our stay was fantastic. Both hosts were on top of any requests or information we requested. Property owner was welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond for us. Breakfast was scrumptious, with a fabulous homemade gravy. Yum. The kayak trip was perfect and we were able to launch and return to the B&B, although hosts offer drop off and pick up at numerous stops along the river. We definitely will stay again."
