"We were five friends visiting the UP for our annual ski trip and this was the most pleasant stay we've ever had! There was so much space for all of us to exist without feeling cramped. We enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. The hot tub was so nice to relax our sore muscles. The non-skiers among us appreciated being in town to wander around to shops and cafes while the rest of us were on the slopes. It's clear a lot of care and love went into this apartment....

"This rental apartment was perfect. My college friend and I came up for our first snowmobile trip of the year This place is literally right on the atv/snowmobile trail. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property owner, Vernon, responded within minutes to all questions. And to make things even better the the South Range Pub (popular snowmobile hangout) and the 1902 Tap and Grill are basically across the street. "Didn’t seem like a bad area but all of the business buildings are not businesses anymore. The property is in an old building, which is unique and the idea is great. The problem is that the unit smells very strongly of old building. I felt like it was not clean because of the smell. Cool idea but I would not stay again"

"The outside of the building doesn’t represent how the place is on the inside. It’s a nice clean and well taken care of apartment that was comfy to stay in. Relatively quiet just noisy cars driving by at night. Very nice place to stay and a not very far from Houghton so it’s definitely a place I’d revisit."

"We stayed here while in town for our daughter’s wedding. The reception was right across the street at the Fire Hall. Obviously the location couldn’t have been any better! We had our 7 mo old grandson also and when he was fussy we had plenty of space to push him around in his stroller. Vern was a great host, very quick to respond to questions!"

"Such a nice property! Walking distance to downtown Hurley, WI. Michigan border within minutes. Close to skiing and snowmobile trail. We were here for snocross and were minutes from the track at Mt Zion. Comfy beds, warm shower. Heat just right. 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟"

"Colleen was a super host and a sweetheart as well. Place is very well equipped and very clean for its age. Gal of water in the fridge and the snack bowl on the table was a great touch. If you like downtown Hurley this location is awesome, it’s just a stumble around the block to get home. We will definitely be back this winter!!! Thanks again guys!!!"

The location was perfect, with a super short drive the Snowriver ski resorts to the east and Big Powderhorn to the west. "I don’t think I can summarize the beauty of this place in a review. The home is a work of art and you can see the dream of the owners in every space. We felt at home the entire time. The beach was the most amazing time spent when we were there. The sunsets are painted over the lake like a dream and our family soaked it up. We explored the area with great rec commendations from the host and others we met in town. Our daughter kept saying it was the best vacation ever! We agree and will be back....
