"We were happy with the general location of this hotel. This is very central in a pedestrian section of central Athens. Tons of dining and shopping. Two blocks to subway station. The problem is that our room was on the 3rd floor directly over the restaurants below. Very noisy at night until after midnight. At this time of year, the hotel does not have air conditioning so if you want cooling, you have to open the window but then there's the noise. It seriously disturbed our sleep even...

I especially liked that the coffee was hot each morning and staff was friendly in the breakfast area. Much kudos to the reception staff and the bell-hops,especially Angelo.
