"Location is very convenient to get to the downtown shops and restaurants. Lots of large tours of students can't thru but the staff placed us above them so it was not a problem. The bar and breakfast were excellent. The pool wasn't open is my only complaint but it's unusually cold still. The staff were amazing."

"We have stayed at the Apollo previously. We enjoy the location and staff. All of the workers are so friendly and kind. This is a no-frills hotel, but everything worked fine, including lots of hot water. The breakfast, while modest, was a nice bonus. Since Apollo is on a busy road at a large roundabout, some might find it to be loud, but I enjoy the energy and sounds of Athens when at the Apollo. The local neighbourhood has lovely bakeries and cafes and shops."

"It was good for our needs. We stayed five days and would stay here again. The staff was great. And the daily breakfast was wonderful. The area around the hotel is okay. It's a residential area with apartments and other hotels. There were a few unhoused people/ addicts, but they didn't bother us. We didn't feel unsafe. In fact, we walked to and from Syntagma Square, which is about a twenty min walk, at 3 am in the morning when we needed to catch the 24-hour bus to or from the airport. There are...

"Staff were amazing and very friendly and very helpful. The accommodation itself is fine perfect for putting your head down in but it’s outdated. The bathrooms are tiny and outdated. No seal on the shower door meaning the whole floor is covered in water. There is no air conditioning in the rooms which this would benefit, there are heaters instead of air conditioning. "
